Part-Time Bank Teller – Duncansville location

Job Summary
Join our dynamic banking team as a Bank Teller, where your enthusiasm and dedication will drive exceptional customer experiences and support our financial operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling daily cash transactions, providing personalized financial services, and fostering strong customer relationships. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth banking processes while promoting our full suite of financial products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail banking and customer service within a strong community banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and balance a cash drawer with precision and integrity
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing inquiries, and providing clear information about banking products and services
  • Conduct basic math calculations swiftly to process transactions efficiently and accurately using financial software
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products to meet client needs and enhance their financial well-being; no cold calling or sales goals
  • Professionally refer customers seeking commercial loan services, real estate loans, and merchant accounts
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies

Experience/Skills

  • Prior experience in retail banking or financial services is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic math and cash handling
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
