Assistant Branch Manager – Bedford Office

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Branch Manager and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional financial services to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will support the branch’s daily operations, foster strong customer relationships, and help lead a motivated team to serve our customers and community. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth banking processes while promoting our full suite of financial products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills and make a meaningful impact within a strong community banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Operate and balance a cash drawer with precision and integrity.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing inquiries, and providing clear information about banking products and services.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling banking products to meet client needs and enhance their financial well-being; no cold calling or sales goals
  • Professionally refer customers seeking commercial loan services, real estate loans, and merchant accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and banking regulations.
  • Lead team management efforts by coaching front-line staff and promoting a positive work environment.

Experience/Skills

  • Prior experience in retail banking or financial services is preferred.
  • Leadership or management experience with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to being part of a strong team.
